If users don't want to apply the updates at that time, they can postpone the updates. If they choose to postpone, they will receive other notifications at a later time reminding them about the deadline. For example, with the first notification, users can choose to be reminded again in a certain number of hours. But users can't postpone the updates beyond the deadline.

When the deadline is an hour away, users get a persistent notification along with a timer that counts down the minutes until the deadline. If the deadline arrives and users haven't saved their work and closed their applications, MAU will forcibly close the applications, without saving the data, and starts to apply the updates. Turn off a deadline

If you have set a deadline in the management configuration profile, you should turn off the deadline by setting empty values in your management configuration profile, as shown in the following example.

If you just delete the management configuration profile, the deadline isn't actually turned off. If you have specified a deadline for all applications, you can still configure a more specific deadline for one of the applications. For example, you can configure a deadline of 7 days for all applications, and then specify that the deadline for Excel is 4 days.
Instead of configuring a specific date and time for a deadline for a specific version, you can configure that deadline to be a certain number of days after that specific version is detected by MAU.
If no values are set for UpdateDeadline.DaysBeforeForcedQuit or UpdateDeadline.StartAutomaticUpdates in the user configuration profile or management configuration profile, macOS automatically generates and inserts empty values for those keys in the user configuration profile. Windows 8 Release Candidate reported to be released by May with an October retail date
As a time-limited version of an operating system that’s all but ready to go and occasionally shared with the public as a final test, the Release Candidate of Windows 8 has been paid great attention from global Windows users. Not long before, it’s reported by Bloomberg that Microsoft was looking to an October launch timeframe for Windows 8, which claimed that Microsoft would launch Windows 8 with both Intel and ARM chips, though in disproportionate numbers. After that, I also wrote some posts which detailed the comparison between the new iPad and other tablets. Now today, I would like to make another tablet comparison in detail, Apple new iPad vs. ASUS Transformer Prime.
After the comparison of Apple new iPad vs. Motorola Droid Xyboard 10.1 and Apple new iPad vs. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, it seems that the new iPad made two victories. Now, let’s put our hope on the ASUS Transformer Prime and see what the result would be after comparison. Surely enough, the Asus Transformer Prime is bent on showing why it’s that other benchmark device. Honestly, it’s a clash of the titans with these two behemoths, but much like everything else, there can only be one that can reign supreme from the ashes of battle. Display: This is the gorilla in the room: the new iPad has a wonderful 2048 x 1536 Retina Display which even allows 1080P HD Blu-ray movies playback on new iPad. Storage: The new iPad is available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB capacities, no external memory storage expansion attached. However, the Transformer Prime provides 32GB and 64GB versions of internal storage, plus its microSD card slot which allows external memory expansion.
Internet & connectivity: Both tablets support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. But the new iPad comes with 4G LTE network connectivity and Bluetooth 4.0, while the Transformer Prime supports only Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and no 4G network connectivity.
Camera: The new iPad’s 5-megapixel iSight camera shows its prowess over its rival in low lighting situations. Specifically, it wins us over with its correct exposure and natural color reproduction. The Transformer Prime is still tolerable with low lighting situations, but it has a noticeable greenish hue with its colors – then again, it has the benefit of an LED flash to counteract its deficiencies. Both tablets support 1080P HD video recording.
Battery Life: Both are Energizer Bunnies. The iPad 3 gets there by the way of a huge battery that’s double the capacity of the iPad 2. The new iPad, not named as iPad HD, iPad 2S or iPad 3 as previously rumored, comes with full HD Retina Display which offers a resolution of 2048×1536 (3.1 million pixels) and quad-core A5X GPU processor which is four times as fast as the nearest competition, which together bring excellent graphic experience and effect for you to watch even HD Blu-ray movies on iPad. Meanwhile, this new iPad is also capable of operating on 4G network for both AT&T and Verizon carriers. To make their iPads more competitive, Apple priced the new iPad from $499, the same as iPad 2, and cut the price of iPad 2 by $100. After the iPhone 4S got a modified version of the A5 processor found in the iPad 2, many presumed the new iPad would get the A6 processor. Instead Apple released the new iPad with the A5X processor, though it’s quad-core chip and Apple claimed that the A5X processor is as fast as four times as the performance of NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.
Siri: One of the biggest updates of iPhone 4S is the new Siri, the voice-controlled iPhone virtual assistant feature. Since this software emerged on iPhone 4S, all people would expect Apple to add Siri to the next iPad. But Apple just enabled the new iPad to allow users to dictate e-mails, without any mention of Siri.
iOS 6: Ars Technica reported that it was seeing devices running iOS 6 in logs, sparking hope that Apple might release–or at least tease–iOS 6. Alas, we’re only getting iOS 5.1 now. Expect more iOS news to emerge in June at Apple’s World Wide Developers conference.
